The T-shaped balance consists of a two-part beam for easier storage. On both the front and the back of the two-part beams, there are 40 hooks for attaching hanging weight plates. On the front and back, the bars are each labelled with numbers from 1-10 from the pivot point. You can attach more than one plate to each hook. 

22 hanging weight plates are included with the balance for calculating in the number range up to 100.
