The Multilink® Teacher's Guide offers a range of ideas and practical activities to help teachers maximise the potential of Multilink® as an aid to understanding mathematics.

Over 40 activities show how to effectively use Multilink® Cubes, Prisms, Isos and Quadrants, as well as the Multilink® Number Track, Grid Tray, Pegboard and Bar Chart and Histogram Board to teach major aspects of the primary National Curriculum for mathematics. The activities for mathematical exploration and investigation are suitable for whole class, group and individual work for all ability levels and especially for visual and kinaesthetic learners. Curriculum links are provided for each activity.

About the author

Karen Levet has been a teacher of mathematics for over 25 years, in primary, secondary and adult education and, as the daughter of Bob Stone, Multilink's® originator, has had a lifelong involvement in its development and use as a mathematical resource. As an Advanced Skills Teacher and Lead Practitioner, she has taught exemplar lessons, devised activities, run master classes and led primary-secondary maths liaison groups.
